If you got an MTN mobile number then you might already noticed that you get a "No Signal" or "Emergency Calls Only" where the signal bar should be. The issue occured this morning at 9am and from the looks of it, it seems to be an issue with their complete MTN network coverage all over Cyprus. Other mobile networks as Primetel and Cyta seem to be just fine.

We contacted their service center and we were told that it should be fixed within the hour. The phone call was at 10am, and at the time i''m writing this article the network is still down, but we consider this as normal because anyone that works in service support knows that you can not put an exact time estimate on a fix for an electronic malfunction.

We will update this article when we got more updates on the issue.

update #1 3:20pm The issue has been solved, mtn mobile connectivity works like it should now.

update #2  MTN just notified their customers that the reason behind the downtime was due to an unannounced maintenance of  Department of Public Works and that all customers will ge...

As CNET reported Tuesday, a Google spokesperson said images would not be displayed on the lenses of the augmented-reality headset. In plain words, the video above is not what the Glasses actually will display, well not yet.

This was not considered as a surprise as Wired Magazine wrote just a day after Google announced the project,

The hardware that appears in the photos doesn’t appear capab...

Firefox has gone to a new level with this new 14.0 beta update which finally brings Flash support at least to tegra 2 and 3 devices with ICS. Still there are some major issues with stability and lack of support for Flash in tegra 2 devices with Gingerbread, but at least they are on a good way.

This new beta update not only brings the highly anticipated flash support but a major overhall of the user interface for the mobile product of Firefox, which with compination with the new start page make...

Rumor has it that Google will team up for their new Nexus mobile phone with multiple manufacturers thus releasing not only one Nexus device with the new Android 5 (Jellybean) but up to 5.

According to the WSJ article,

Google's strategy is a shift from its previous practice, when it partnered with only one hardware maker at a time to produce seven "lead devices" that showed off the newest Android software features, before releasing the software to other device makers. The change is a bid to exert more control over the apps that run on smartphones and tablets powered by Android, thus reducing the influence of wireless...
