Lantern Plant

The Lantern Fruit's foreageable counterpart, these wild gourds are closer to what the Korso would have utilized on their trek to the location Alurizans now know as Harbor. While modern Lantern Fruits have been cultivated to perfection, this gourd still carries the luciferace laden innards that glow when exposed to oxygen, signifying its ripeness! These sturdy fruits have a thick, inedible rind but delicious pulp and seeds, and the act of carving them into glowing decorations for the Twilight Carnival goes back hundreds of years.
